| MISSION STATEMENT FSCA specializes in meeting the needs of children with learning differences by providing a safe, supportive, educational environment in partnership with faculty, staff, students, parents, and community members. FSCA embraces with uniqueness of each student by challenging and inspiring them to reach their full potential. Our academic and social curriculum encourages the development of life skills essential in becoming independent and self-sufficient adults. |
FSCA was founded in 2002 by Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Hatmaker. FSCA has the distinction of being the first and only private school in
Cumberland County dedicated to students with mild to moderate learning differences. We teach to each student's strengths and understand
their weaknesses.
During the last ten years, Mrs. Hatmaker has interviewed many educators, but she has moved slowly looking for those who aren't just
interested in a paycheck, but those who have a real heart for these students and who are committed to their success.
You will see the following hallmarks as soon as you enter the building, bringing success to the students:
FSCA admits students without regard to race, color, disability, national origin and does not discriminate in any of its procedures, policies, or
programs within the academy's venue.
FSCA is a member of Association of Christian Schools International and is certified by the State of North Carolina, Non-Public Division of
Education.
